it's not the religion that defines the person..it's the person that represents for their religion!!!!!

an Athiest can be best of friends with a Sikh and a Muslim.. its not about the religion, it's about two people that put their differences aside and are friends for what the other has to offer... I am Sikh and I get along most with my Muslim girls.. I only have 1 Sikh girl... cause my Muslim girls are the ones I can relate to the most!!! they have the same mentality, values and morals as me and that is why I chose them as friends!!! I didn't ask them yo are you Muslim? ahhh too bad.. lol =)   If God doesn't judge us based on religion. who are we to judge each other???

Yes they can be   May.16.2009 @ 7:34 pm

Yeah they can be friends because both are human. Its not about religion anymore its about people, your own people can fuck you over. Its hard to find a good "person" anymore so if I got a Muslim friend who I know has my back and a Sikh friend who I cant trust with my life, Id know which one to choose. Btw im Sikh and people dont make friends based on religion they make friends based on who they click with. Otherwise everyone should walk around with a label hanging off of them that states their religion.

the whole conflict between sikhs and muslims dates to the rule of Aurengzeb, when he ordered the execution of Guru Gorbind Singh who helped the rebellious son of Aurengzeb. Guru Gorbind Singh gave refuge to this worthless scum bag, and his short sighted father ordered the death of the Guru, he should have ordered the death of his son, as is in accordance with shari3ah.
the muslim rulers of india, most of whom come from turkic central asian peoples, like myself, have always used the shari3ah as a rubber shoe. in other words they would stretch different rulings whenever it suited their fancy.
i think my indo pak brothers and sisters would do well to study the history of these "muslim rulers of hind" before idolizing them as some perfect examples of muslim behavior, because they were anything but that

Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi*:

The Birth Of Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)
And Miraculous Happenings

Bibi Aaminah Radiyallahu-Anha saw the gates of Heaven open. The angels came down for the adoration of the new baby. Three angels went towards the Kaabah. One angel stayed over the Kaabah, one went to the East and the other towards the West.

A light then spread out lighting up the universe. In this miraculous light, Bibi Aaminah Radiyallahu-Anha could see distinctly the palaces of Palestine and Syria. After the birth of Muhammad (Allah`s Grace & Peace be upon him) three angels appeared.

One of them took a seal and marked the right shoulder and handed the child over to the mother. When Bibi Aaminah looked upon the face of the child, it was shining like the full moon and perfume of the finest Otto (sweet -smelling essence) was coming from the body.

Hazrat Muhammad (Allah`s Grace & Peace be upon him) was born without an umbilical (navel) cord, circumcised and his body miraculously pure and clean without any kind of blood or dirt on it.

At the time of birth of Muhammad (Allah`s Grace & Peace be upon him) Hazrat Abdul Muttalib, the grandfather of the Holy Prophet (Allah`s Grace & Peace be upon him), and some other Mecums were at the Kaabah at this early hour before dawn. All of a sudden they were surprised to see the walls of the Kaabah bow miraculously before Maqam-e-Ibrahim.

Abdul Muttalib hearing the walls of the Kaabah talk and seeing all the idols fall. There were a number of people at the Kaabah at the time of the birth of Hazrat Muhammad (Allah`s Grace & Peace be upon him), when all the idols fell prostrate. They picked up and erected the fallen idols, but the idols fell down again on their faces.

They propped them up again but the idols collapsed for a third time. These idols remained prostrate on the floor for a full twenty-four hours. No amount of effort to refit them throughout the world was successful. It was only on the next day that they were refitted.

This was witnessed by thousands , not only at Mecca but all over the world The fire in the Magi temple of the Zoroastrians which had been alight for thousands of years, became quenched for the first time in recorded history. It had always burned ever since it was lit in the days of King Nimrod. Fourteen towers of the Royal palace of Nausherwan, the Emperor of Persia, broke and fell.

The famous stone, on which the fabulous throne of Persia was kept, cracked. The deep and fast flowing river Sawa in the Persian Empire dried up instantly.

The river Samawa in the Persian Empire which had been dry for the past thousand years or more started flowing immediately. Emperor Nausherwan had a dream that very night in which he saw Arabian camels drag away the Iranian horses across the Tigris and spread them selves throughout Persia.

sorry i have to put whole esay on it because you saying it's not true. i don't know why you muslims just trying to run away from question. you tell me it's

this is for "die dp"   Oct.14.2008 @ 2:16 am

"Men have authority over women, for that God has exalted one over the other, and for that they expend of their wealth; so the righteous women are obedient and guard the unseen as God has guarded. And those whose rebellion you fear, admonish them and leave them alone in the beds, and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; God is surely High, Great.(34) "

this is clearly say in quran that you can beat the woman. how can god can tell the man to beat woman. islam is man made religion, i think you guys ignore half of the quran when you read it.

Sphynx writes

As for verse 9:29 that you posted without a slight understanding of what it is....
Jizya is a poll-tax that a non-muslim pays (provided he falls within a certain income bracket) to enjoy full rights and practice his own religion, under a muslim rule....does that seem like fighting to you??? even when every muslim pays a similar obligatory tax which is called zakat........
It is similar to the taxes that your own governments of today impose on every citizen to be allowed certain benefits within a state......

If you read the whole verse it states non-muslims have 3 options convert to islam peacefully if not pay the jiyza tax and accept muslims are superior and enjoy second class status and if not prepare for war. If you look at the final thing that verse says is it tells muslims to subjegate non-muslims which basically means humiliate them.

Again you made my point that islam wants to dominate the world!

And if you look at history non-muslims payed upward part of 50 percent of there earnings if not more. So many of them had to conver to islam because they couldnt afford this! And also what about accepting second class status that non-muslims dont have the same rights as muslims. Its funny how you try to water down the whole verse. Your just a cockroach.

Verse 9.33 is a prophecy that islam wants to dominate the world you are right. Thats the whole goal of islam to make it superior and dominate all other relgions and at the end muslims will lose!
